The University of Wisconsin-Waukesha Foundation, Inc. sponsors scholarships each year for UW-Waukesha students. The program is designed to give encouragement and financial assistance to students. There are a wide range of scholarships available. Some are designated for students in particular areas of study, including, but not limited to, health care, natural science, education, and engineering. Scholarships are also available for single parents and for adults returning to school.

For a continuing student or a student transferring to a four-year university intending to major in education, preferably math education. Preference will be given to students who have participated in the UW-Waukesha Study Center programs. Recommendation from Study Center staff is required.
For a continuing student with a minimum of 6 earned credits in sociology and/or anthropology. Must enroll for at least 6 credits.
For a continuing student majoring in art. When possible, a portfolio is suggested.
For new or continuing students majoring in business or engineering, who expect it to transfer to a UW System institution.
For a senior graduating in the top 15 percent of his/her high school class. Available to full and part-time students.
For new and continuing students in any area of study. Available to full and part-time students.
For a new or continuing student who participated in any pre-college program, such as College Bound, University Camp, Upward Bound, Gear Up, or Talent Search. A high-school GPA of 2.5 or higher and recommendation from his/her pre-college advisor is required.
For a new or continuing student who has demonstrated community service and has financial need.
For a continuing student majoring in education with a minimum of 6 earned credits and a 2.5 GPA first semester and 2.75 or higher GPA in following semesters. May be renewed for up to 3 semesters.
For a new or continuing student in any area of study. Available to full or part-time students.
For a full or part-time continuing student who takes an active role in serving the community at large or the UW-Waukesha community, has earned a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and plans to earn a bachelor's degree.
For a high school senior graduating in the top 10 percent of his/her class.
For a new or continuing student with intended major in history, art, or astronomy who has financial need. Available to full or part-time students.
For a high-school senior who graduated in the upper 20 percent of his/her high school class and is pursuing a degree in any of the sciences.
For a continuing student planning to enter graduate school in a health field other than a chiropractic field. Must have a 3.0 average and enroll for at least 12 credits.
For a new or continuing student in any field of study who is a single parent. Must have a 3.0 high-school GPA or a 2.33 college GPA, whichever is more recent. Must enroll for at least 6 credits.
For a continuing student majoring in engineering.
For new and continuing students majoring in a course of study related to health care, including social work, counseling, and teaching disabled students. Must have a 2.7 GPA and enroll for at least 6 credits.
For students in the performing arts.
For students majoring in English who have financial need.
For a continuing student majoring in education. First priority given to those majoring in physical education/athletics. Minimum GPA of 2.6 is required.
For new freshmen from Waukesha County in any area of study. May be renewed up to four semesters with stipulated GPA: 2.5 first semester, 2.75 in the following semesters.
For low/moderate income or minority students in any area of study. Full or part-time.
For a new or continuing minority student who demonstrates leadership and shows a commitment to the African-American community. 2.5 GPA required.
For a new or continuing student who demonstrates a commitment to the Latino community and has a minimum GPA of 2.0.
For a continuing student with at least 12 earned credits, a 3.5 GPA, and demonstrated service to UW-Waukesha. Must enroll for at least 6 credits.
For a new or continuing student in any area of study. Award is a line of credit at campus bookstore for textbook purchase.
For a new or continuing female student over 21 who is returning to college to improve her career. Must have a 3.0 GPA and enroll for at least 6 credits.
For a new or continuing student majoring or minoring in chemistry or nursing or preparing for a career that requires college chemistry. Must enroll for at least 12 credits.
For a continuing student who has earned a minimum of 12 credits at UW-Waukesha and whose academic record at UW-Waukesha demonstrates significant improvement over a previous academic record.
