My books are about travel.  The metaphor of travel signifies the voyage through life.  The physical act of turning the pages reinforces the concept of time.  The subject and images that reoccur are maps, concrete and exotic places.  and the choice of a young girl as the main character.  The naïve sees life in a fresh manner, with the idealism, hope, and surprise with what life may present.  The character also locates and embraces the small aspects of living.  Her simple journey is one of self-investigation and represents an unsung heroine.
