BIO 109 5 CONCEPTS OF BIOLOGY

NOTE: Each student may be required to participate and provide their own transportation for a three-hour field experience at the UW-Waukesha Field Station. Also, each student may be required to go at his or her own convenience and expense to the Milwaukee Public Museum for a field trip. There also may be local field experiences scheduled during class time that would require students to provide their own transportation. In addition to the lecture, students must enroll in Lab/Dis.

A study of how normal physiological function is altered and restored in response to exercise and training. Students will learn to assist individuals in the development of a healthy, active lifestyle in which the benefits of physical activity are understood, valued, and integrated into daily life.
