WAUKESHA – The University of Wisconsin-Waukesha’s annual Student Art Show will be on exhibit in the Fine Arts Gallery on campus through Wednesday, May 21.
The exhibition is free and open to the public. UW-Waukesha is located at 1500 N. University Drive, Waukesha. For directions to the UW–Waukesha campus, including the Fine Arts Center (Southview) and the art gallery, go to the Campus Map page.
The show features the artwork of students enrolled in studio art classes at UW-Waukesha during the 2013-14 academic year. The artwork will include paintings, prints, drawings, graphic design projects and ceramics.
The UW-Waukesha Library will be continuing its tradition of purchasing a work from the exhibit to add to the campus collection. The prior three years purchase award artworks are on exhibit in the library. This year’s award-winning work will be announced on Study Day – Thursday, May 15.
The free gallery is open 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday; and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. For a private viewing, contact Timothy Booth at email@example.com.
