Fantasy Football League Rules
Positions
Each fantasy team will consists of 14 players from five Offensive
positions and includes one Defense.
The offensive positions are as follows (minimum-maximum number
of players):
1 3 Quarterbacks (QB)
1 5 Running Backs (RB)
1 5 Wide Receivers (WR)
1 3 Tight Ends (TE)
1 2 Team Kickers (K)
1 2 The Defensives/Special Teams unit (D)
NOTE: K & D are selected from an individual NFL team.
Free Agent Holding Period
From the time starters are due until Wednesday at Noon we enter
a period Free Agent holding period. During this time all roster
moves and requests and put on hold. At Noon on Wednesday the requests
will be processed in reverse order of record.
Note: the record is determined by Overall Winning Percentage, Head-Head Record, Total Points Scored,
Divisional Winning Percentage, Reverse Order of Opponent Total Points Scored, Power Rank.
Injuries/Injured Reserve
During the season you are allowed to have two players on injured
reserve that do not count against your 14 players. These people
must actually be injured (no freeloading). When you place a person
on IR, you may pickup a replacement player from the pool of available
players. To activate the player off IR, you will need to drop a
player to make room for them to return (or place someone else on
IR in their place).
NOTE: an IR player MUST be activated after they score points
unless still injured (NFL injury list).
Playoffs
Once the playoff games begins there will be no changes allowed
to your team (drop/pickup players, IR) although you can
still change your starters throughout the playoffs. Players on IR
must be removed before the playoffs or they will automatically be
cut. Remember to pick some backups in case your starters get injured.
Two division champions and four wild card teams go to the playoffs
(the next two teams with the best records in their division). The
division champs get a BYE in the first round of the playoffs. The
remaining teams in each division (or the losers brackets)
get a chance to play for the Stupor Bowl.
If two or more teams have identical win/loss records, the tiebreaker
is win/loss records in head-to-head games. If necessary, additional
tiebreakers are Division Record, and Total Points (season).
NOTE: In a three-way tie, the tiebreakers are Division Record,
Total Points, Coin Toss.
NOTE: Playoff ties will be determined by Bench Scoring, followed
by Home Field Advantage.

Schedule:
14 weeks head-head (3 weeks for playoffs - 6 playoff teams)
The regular season schedule is listed on the web page.
Playoff schedules will be determined as described above.
Scoring
Each week your starters points will be added and you will compete
head-head against another opponent in the league. The person with
most points is awarded the victory. In the event of a tie, bench
scoring will determine the winner. If the bench scoring is the same,
then the tie will stand. Complete list of scoring rules by position are published on the
web page.
Note: Sometimes the NFL will go back and change rulings on plays later in the week or on the following week. We will not go back and make these changes, even if they affect the outcome of that week's game. The scores listed on Tuesday morning are the final scores except in the case of data entry errors by the commisioner.
Starting Lineups
You will be able to make changes to your starting lineup until
11:59pm Saturday. After this time, you will not be allowed to make
changes to your active lineup. If you do not contact the commissioner,
your starting lineup from the previous week will be used. Changes
in the above time will be emailed to all team owners.
Each week, you will decide which eight players you would like to
activate for the upcoming game.
Below are the required starters:
1 QB 1 Kicker 1 Def/ST 1 RB 1 WR
1 TE plus 2 more skill positions (RB/WR/TE)
Transactions
There will be hundreds of available free agents each week. These
unsigned players are available to be added to your team whenever
you wish. However, if you have filled all 14 available slots on
your roster, you must drop players before you may add new ones or
move an injured player to IR.
You may not drop a healthy, top-ranked player from your roster
without an explanation. "Top-rank" usually means that
a given player is in the top five to ten percent of his position's
ranking. For example, Brett Favre may not be dropped if he is healthy.
This does not mean that you must keep a star on your team no matter
what - any player may be traded.
You can make trades with any other team owner, but some trade requests
may be turned down. For instance, if a team tried to trade Brett
Favre for Ty Detmer right before the playoffs, it is unlikely that
this trade would be allowed.
Week 12 is the trading deadline. No trades made be made from week 13 through the playoffs; off-season trading will resume when the playoffs are over.
