Make a Difference
There are several ways you can support UW-Waukesha Continuing Education programs. Any donation you make will greatly help students in need, and will allow our department opportunity to continue to develop programs that help serve our community.
To provide the Waukesha community and beyond with the highest quality educational programs, donations will be used for program development and costs, including program supplies and materials, instructor or speaker fees, and materials needed for the success of the program, and for scholarships. If you would like to donate, please fill out our donation form or contact our office.
Our scholarship fund has provided many students with the opportunity to take a continuing education class, which would not have been possible without donations from the community. Children from low-income families have the chance to attend our GEMS program as well as our summer academies, for little or no cost to them. Our scholarship fund brings people to a college campus and is often a niche for students who have not found a foothold in a traditional academic setting. In many cases, taking a continuing education class has sparked an interest in higher education for students of all ages, who then go on to take credit courses to earn a degree. If you would like to donate to Continuing Education’s scholarship fund, please fill out our donation formor contact our office.
If you are unable to support us with a monetary donation, but would still like to help, we are always looking for volunteers for our youth programs. We are in search of professionals in the community who are interested in offering a class at our annual GEMS conference, as well as people who would be willing to help with the coordination and implementation of similar programs. If this is something you are interested in, please fill out the volunteer form and return it to our office.
