Wed • 12 pm • C101 • Suzanne Joneson,
"Nostoc sp.: The bff you never knew you had"

Bacteria make the world go around, and cyanobacteria make eukaryotic life on earth possible. Dr. Joneson will cover her research on Nostoc sp. in Wisconsin - a ubiquitous cyanobacterium that often goes unnoticed and unappreciated. By the end of this talk, everyone will know how to identify
Nostoc sp. macroscopically, and as the bff they never knew they had.
