Waukesha – The University of Wisconsin-Waukesha Symphonic Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Jazz Ensemble will present their fall concert on Friday, November 17, at 7:30 p.m. in the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, located in the Fine Arts Center on campus. Admission is free and open to the public.All three groups are directed by Craig Hurst, associate professor of music. The all-student percussion ensemble performs solely with percussion instruments. The symphonic band will contribute British and Bohemian marches, a musical portrait of Wales, and music of Renaissance composer Tielmann Susato and contemporary composers Elliot del Borgo and Vincent Persichetti.
