WAUKESHA – The University of Wisconsin-Waukesha women’s basketball team will play the first home game of the season on Saturday, November 18, in the newly remodeled Field House on campus. It will be the first competition to be staged in the renovated and enlarged facility. The Cougars will face the University of Wisconsin-Fox Valley team at 1:00 p.m.Coached by Jack Hervert, the women Cougars finished last year with a 27-4 record, winning their fourth state title in eight years. They defeated their first 2000-2001 season opponent, UW-Fond du Lac, on Monday.
An open house to introduce the new facility will be held early next semester. |
