| WAUKESHA – Once again, the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha will offer a workshop for anyone who wants to understand college financial aid, even if the student plans to attend a different campus. It will be held Monday, February 12, at 7:00 p.m. in Conference Room 101, and is open to the public at no charge. UW-Waukesha is located at 1500 N. University Dr., on the City of Waukesha’s northwest side.
Financial aid advisor at UW-Waukesha, Judy Becker will present an overview of state and federal college aid programs, discuss how to apply, explain the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for academic 2001-2002, and describe what happens in the financial aid process. Afterward, she will answer questions from the audience as well as individually.
Free parking will be available in any student lot or on University Drive. Enter the main Commons doors and turn left at the Welcome Desk.
If the campus is closed due to inclement weather conditions, the workshop will be held Wednesday, February 28, at the same time and in the same place.
Make reservations to attend by calling the Student Services office at (262) 521-5200. They also can answer questions about the workshop. |
