| WAUKESHA – Four University of Wisconsin-Waukesha women basketball players have been named to honorary Wisconsin Collegiate Conference (WCC) Eastern Division teams. Nicky Carroll, Greenfield, and Shelly Flanagan, Oconomowoc, were elected to the first team, and Annmarie Gigowski, Oak Creek, and Alissa Schmidt, Oconomowoc, were chosen for the second team.
Coach Jack Hervert has led the 2000-2001 UW-Waukesha women Cougars to a perfect 11-0 conference finish and a 21-4 overall record. All losses occurred out of state. The women will play in a conference tournament at the UW-Waukesha Field House on Friday and Saturday, February 16-17, and in state regional competition Monday, February 19. |
