WAUKESHA Retired professor and theater director at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha, David Hundhausen and his wife, Pat, will be hosting a European expedition in June 2002. An information session to review the details of the guided tour and answer questions is scheduled for Sunday, October 21, at 7:00 p.m. in the UW-Waukesha Commons Room 101. All who are interested in traveling with the group are encouraged to attend the meeting.
Departing Chicago June 12, the group will fly into Florence, Italy, and transfer to Siena to begin the sightseeing. The tour will return to Florence, where travelers will see some of the great art of the ages, including Michelangelos David. They will have plenty of free time to explore sites of particular interest.
The tour will continue weaving through the medieval towns of Tuscany down to Monaco and the Italian and French Rivieras. It includes stops in Cannes, and Aix-en-Provence, where Cézannes studio remains untouched since his death, before going to Avignon. Travelers will stay in Vinon-Sur-Verdon and return to Cannes via Moustiers-Ste.-Marie
