Financial Aid Workshop Set for February 11

WAUKESHA – Once again, the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha will offer a workshop for anyone who wants to understand college financial aid, even if the student plans to attend a different campus. It will be held Monday, February 11, at 7:00 p.m. in the Dining Room in the Commons Building and is open to the public at no charge. Registration is requested, however. UW-Waukesha is located at 1500 N. University Dr., on the City of Waukesha’s northwest side.

Financial aid advisor at UW-Waukesha, Judy Becker will discuss the process of applying for financial aid and the timeline, explain the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for academic 2002-2003, and present an overview of state and federal college aid programs. Afterward, she will answer questions from the audience as well as individually.

To register for the free workshop, phone UW-Waukesha Student Services at (262) 521-5200. Free parking will be available in any student lot or on University Drive.

If the campus is closed due to inclement weather conditions, the workshop will be held Monday, February 18, at the same time and in the same place.
