WAUKESHA The Lunt-Fontanne Ensemble at the University of Wisconsin Waukesha will present William Oakleys Rumplestiltskin in March. Performances will be Saturdays, March 16 and 23, at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and Sundays, March 17 and 24, at 1:00 p.m. in the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, located in the Fine Arts Center at UW-Waukesha, 1500 N. University Dr., Waukesha.
The interactive format is designed to entertain and educate children, especially those aged 8 and under. Ticket prices are $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for children under 12.
Following auditions last week, theater director Mark Lococo chose a cast of UW-Waukesha students:
- Kelly Banach, New Berlin, will play Annette
- Tony Fischer, Wind Lake, is the miller
- Adam Gaulke, Pewaukee, is Rumplestiltskin
- Nikki Kandziora, Waukesha, plays the first page
- Lisa Ludwig, Waukesha, is Glady
- Aaliyah Muhammad, Milwaukee, is the second page
- Jack Packard, Greenfield, plays the king
Assisting with the production, student Karin Rondeau, Cudahy, will be the stage manager. Theater manager Jeff Smerz serves as technical director and designer
