WAUKESHA – University of Wisconsin-Waukesha elections for next year’s Student Government officers were held April 23-25 with 283 of the 1825 registered students voting. Many of the non-voting students are not expected to return to UW-Waukesha in the fall but rather transfer to a four-year school to complete their bachelor’s degrees. Elections will be held again in the fall to fill the remaining openings for representatives.
The new officers for 2002-03 will be:
- Mike Moscicke, Sussex, (unopposed), president
- Katie Chapman, Waukesha, vice president
- Kelly Banach, New Berlin, public relations coordinator
- Maureen Mayrand, Waterford, (unopposed), secretary
Newly elected representatives for fall 2002 are:
- Juanita Cordova-Mangione, Milwaukee
- Bryan Erickson, Waukesha
- Timothy Harris, Milwaukee
- James Klein, New Berlin
- Le Anne Pomeroy, Sussex
