WAUKESHA – While their fellow students eat lunch on Tuesday, March 11, members of the student African American Union (AAU) at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha will show them what’s chic, modeling fashions supplied by three local clothing stores. The noon hour “Just Plain Clothes: Fashions of Today” show will take place in the dining area of the Commons on campus at 1500 N. University Dr., Waukesha.
They will have selections for night wear, office attire, banquet or clubbing, and school days, as well as ethnic clothing.
Providing the fashions are Lares Fashions & Western Wear, Main St. in Waukesha, which also will offer a discount to students with a UW-Waukesha ID, Torrid Clothing, and Delia, both with locations at Mayfair Mall.
Modeling the styles will be:

- Felicia Chester, Brookfield
- Amanda Medina, Mukwonago
- Nicole Morgan, Milwaukee
- Aaliyah Muhammad, Milwaukee
- Ryan Nolde, Sussex
- Crystal Salgado, Waukesha
- Natalie Vance, Waukesha
Student government president, Katie Champan, Waukesha, has choreographed the show, and Grover Scanlan, Waukesha, will serve as the master of ceremonies. |
