UW-Waukesha Chorus, Handbell Choir Perform in Concert

WAUKESHA – This year the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha handbell ensemble will join the campus choir in presenting a free holiday concert on Friday, December 5, at 7:30 p.m. in the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on campus at 1500 N. University Dr., Waukesha.

Brian McLinden will direct the choir in seasonal music, accompanied on the piano by Ruth Ross and, at times, by the handbell ensemble.

Directed by Nancy Van Brunt, the handbell ensemble separately will perform works by Haydn, Bach, Hopson, Kocher, Tchaikovsky, and Handel. Kent Kromarek, an associate professor of mathematics and a member of the handbell choir, assisted Van Brunt in coaching the group in technique.

Burlington: Kevin Monteith, bass

Delafield: William John Dickman II, bass

Eagle: Laura Eckart, Jaime Hutchinson, and Barbie Peters, all altos

Elkhorn: Adam Parker

Hartland: Amanda Zdroik, alto

Menomonee Falls: Nikolas Gonzalez and Danika Pulvermacher, tenors

Mukwonago: Kyle Forster and Nicholas Wiedenfeld, bass

Muskego: Ashley Carus, alto

New Berlin: Kate Brandstetter, alto

Oak Creek: Michael Ashby, tenor

Oconomowoc: Rachel Lochner and Cassandra Warren, sopranos; Andrea Wilcox, alto; and Craig Wortman, bass

Waukesha: Jackie Bauer, Jessica Conn, Ashley Ross, and Becky Zuchowski, sopranos; Abby Clark, Amber Mason, and Shalyn Miller, altos; Jacob Deleon, bass; and Stephen Ganschow, and Mike Saldivar, tenors

West Allis: Jeremy Eineichner, bass; Timocracy Hawkins, tenor; and Elizabeth Kluz, soprano
