WAUKESHA – Under the direction of Neil Gregersen, the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha will produce William Gibson’s The Miracle Worker this spring. He will hold auditions from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, January 27 and 28, in the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on campus at 1500 N. University Dr., Waukesha.
He plans to cast 10 adults between ages 20 and 50 – 5 men and 5 women – and is hoping to find an African-American for a female role. He also needs a boy and a girl, aged 8-10, preferably African-American. Scripts will be provided on site for the auditions.
Performances have been scheduled for Fridays and Saturdays, March 12, 13, 19 and 20, at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, March 14, at 2:00 p.m. Rehearsals will be Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.
