WAUKESHA The University of Wisconsin-Waukesha wants to make it easy for you to find out what college could offer you. On Thursday, July 15, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. the Student Services staff will hold an information session to answer your questions about what it takes to get a college education and where to start.
Speakers will describe the college experience, explain how to get started, and outline financial aid and other support resources. Staff even will help you apply for admission. Just bring along a $35 application fee and transcripts from high school and any previous college. Bring a friend as well.
Besides providing information, we want to make potential students feel comfortable with the admission process, to remove any feeling of being rushed or falling behind, says Mary Edwards, event organizer.
The session will be held at the campus at 1500 N. University Dr., Waukesha. Register by calling (262) 521-5235 and ask for Mary Louise.
The University of Wisconsin-Waukesha has the largest enrollment among the 13 freshman-sophomore UW Colleges campuses, which provide the foundation courses needed for a bachelors degree in any field.
