WAUKESHA The University of Wisconsin-Waukesha Choir will present its annual concert on
Friday, May 6, at 7:30 p.m. in the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on campus, 1500 N. University Dr.,
Waukesha. There is no charge, and the public is invited.
Starting with a spring theme, choir director Brian McLinden has put together a program of songs with a heavy emphasis on the love the season implies. He starts with J.S. Bachs To Spring and mixes in classical and modern compositions, among them Thomas Arnes Which is the Properest Day to Sing, Billy Joels And So It Goes, George Harrisons Here Comes the Sun, and concluding with Thomas Morleys It Was a Lover and His Lass.
