WAUKESHA University of Wisconsin-Waukesha academic departments recognized the work of five students this year, conferring departmental honors at the Honors & Degree ceremony Thursday, May 19. Four students received achievement awards for their extracurricular efforts.
Faculty within a department may nominate students to honor for academic work that has been truly outstanding in that discipline. These awards are bestowed only when individual departments so designate; therefore, not every department gives honors each year.

Seventeen members of Phi Theta Kappa, the honor society for two-year colleges, completed their Associate Degrees.
