Auditions Set for ‘Whose Life Is It, Anyway?’

WAUKESHA – Jeff Smerz, who will be directing the fall theater production at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha, will hold auditions to cast nine men and five women in Whose Life Is It, Anyway?, although the division between the number of men and women is flexible.

Audition times begin at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, September 13 and 14, in the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on campus at 1500 N. University Dr., Waukesha.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script, but players may have a prepared monologue if they wish. Academic credit is available.

Written by Brian Clark, the 1981 play tells the story of an artist, paralyzed after a car accident, who goes to trial to fight for his right to die. The production will run two weekends, November 4, 5, 6, 11 and 12.

For information, contact Smerz at (262) 521-5499 or jsmerz@uwc.edu.
