WAUKESHA – University of Wisconsin-Waukesha students hold elections for student government association (SGA) representatives in spring and fall, assuring both freshmen and continuing students an opportunity to serve.
SGA conducts student governance and provides representatives to joint faculty/staff/student committees on campus.
Eight students were elected to SGA in October:
- Michelle Brown, Oconomowoc
- Alex Dominguez, Mukwonago
- Heather Henning, Hartland
- Alex Kartanos, Pewaukee
- Guadalupe Montes-Tydrich, Waukesha
- Curt Orchard, Sussex
- Navi Singh, Franklin
- Deborah Skidmore, Eagle
They join continuing senators, who were elected last May:
- Dheeraj Dixit, Franklin
- Jason Markey, Brown Deer
- Julie Slosarcyzk, Elkhorn
- Lili Zuniga, Hartland
SGA officers for 2005-06 are:
- President – Camille Sanchez-Ovadal, West Allis
- Vice President – Nicole Scarce, Palmyra
- Public Relations Coordinator – Mary Ruhnke, Pewaukee
- Secretary – Jacob Grooms, Hartland
