WAUKESHA – Twenty-nine University of Wisconsin-Waukesha students have been admitted this semester to Phi Theta Kappa, the national honor society for two-year colleges. The local Alpha Chi Rho chapter held an induction ceremony March 16 to welcome them.
To be eligible for the honor society, students must have earned at least 12 credits at UW‑Waukesha with a 3.5 cumulative grade point average.
Advisors for the campus group are Ellyn Lem, assistant professor of English, Sue Kalinka, assistant director of student services for student development, Scott Silet, director of library & media services and Alexei Krioukov, associate professor of mathematics.
