WAUKESHA – Students at the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha held elections April 24-26, voting to fill officer and senator openings on the Student Government Association (SGA). They also decided, by a large margin, to stay in the state college lobbying organization, United Council.
SGA deliberates on campus student government issues, and members sit on campus committees. A second roster of senators, adding six more, will be elected in fall, allowing in-coming students the opportunity to serve in student government.
The new officers are:
- President: Alan Stager, Greendale
- Vice President: Josh Mann, New Berlin
- Treasurer: Jake Margis, Oconomowoc
- Public Relations: Mary Ruhnke, Pewaukee
- Secretary: Nicole Zentgraf, Eagle
New senators are:
- CJ Cleppe and Martin Schmidt, Waukesha
- Jeremy Hansen, North Prairie
- Robert Meyer, Brookfield
- Christine Rodriguez, Burlington
- Navi Singh, Franklin
