WAUKESHA – An all--student cast will perform in the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha fall theater production, Rebecca Gilman’s Spinning into Butter, directed by Jeff Smerz, the campus’s theater manager.
Appearing in the play will be:

- Peter Cieslinski, Oconomowoc, as Mr. Meyers
- Melyssa Gonzalez, Waukesha, as Patty Chibas
- Ryan Matthew Lamb, Waukesha, as Dean Burton Strauss
- Carly Malison, Helenville, as Dean Catherine Kenney
- Stephanie Sell, Hartland, as Sarah Daniels
In Spinning, a black student at a mostly-white Eastern college is the subject of a hate crime. In dealing with the situation, the school’s leaders are forced to re-assess their own disavowed biases.
Performances are set for Fridays and Saturdays, November 3, 4, 10, and 11, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 5, at 2:00 p.m. in the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.
