WAUKESHA – Twenty-one students
have been admitted this semester to the University of
Wisconsin-Waukesha’s Alpha Chi Rho chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the
national honor society for two-year colleges. They will be inducted
at a ceremony Thursday, October 19, at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference
Room 101, located in the Commons on campus at 1500 N. University
Dr., Waukesha.
To be eligible
for the honor society, students must have earned at least 12 credits
at UW‑Waukesha with a 3.5 cumulative grade point average.
Advisors this semester for the
campus group are assistant professor of English Ellyn Lem, Waukesha,
library director Scott Silet, Milwaukee, and assistant professor of
history Jonathan Kasparek, Madison.Students to be inducted in the
