WAUKESHA – Five
University of Wisconsin-Waukesha
soccer players have been recognized by the Wisconsin Collegiate
Conference for their performances this year, and one of those also
made the all-state team.
Jordan Stupar, Brookfield,
was chosen all-conference first team as well as Wisconsin Junior
College Athletic Association (WJCAA) all-state. Nick McDonald,
Muskego, also was selected all-conference first team. Teammates
Adam Biebel, Waukesha, Scott Lausten, Brookfield, and
Saeed Salem, New Berlin, received honorable mention.
Jeff
Smerz, West Allis, who also serves as the theater manager
at the campus, coached the UW-Waukesha Cougar soccer team.
UW-Waukesha has the largest enrollment among
the 13 freshman-sophomore University of Wisconsin Colleges campuses.
