WAUKESHA – Students at the University of
Wisconsin-Waukesha held a special election last week to fill vacated
student government positions. Joining eight continuing Student
Government Association (SGA) senators and three officers, five
students were elected this month:
Omer Farooque, New Berlin
Michael Hopkins II, Milwaukee
Ryan Dunn, Wales
Amber Braun, Waukesha
Aaron Edwards, Wauwatosa
Senators sit on campus-wide committees, create
policy for student governance, sponsor related activities, and serve
as liaison with the administration.
SGA officers this year are:
President: Alan Stager, Greendale
Vice President: Missy Gaido,Waukesha
Executive Director: Navi Singh, Franklin
Treasurer: Amber Braun, Waukesha
UW-Waukesha has the largest enrollment among
the 13 freshman-sophomore University of Wisconsin Colleges campuses.
