WAUKESHA – The University of
Wisconsin-Waukesha choir will present a concert of both classic
and modern Christmas music Friday, December 7, at 7:30 p.m. in
the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, located in the Fine Arts Center on
campus at 1500 N. University Dr., Waukesha.
Admission is free, and the public is
invited. There will be free parking on the street and in campus
lots.
An ensemble of five violins will open the
program, followed by light-hearted choral selections, including
works from How the Grinch Stole Christmas. The violins
and choir will return, each performing classical pieces, and
then will close together with Enatus est Emmanuel.
The choir is directed by associate lecturer
in music
