WAUKESHA – The University of Wisconsin-Waukesha
will present the world premiere of Ian Galloway’s darkly comic
God Willing – A Twology, directed by
Simon
Provan of the Communication & Theatre Arts department.
The play, which is really two short plays in
one, mixes realism and avant-garde theater as it ponders the ideas
of free will, God and little miracles. The production invites a more
intimate connection between audience and actors by placing seats on
stage and transforming the larger space into a studio-type
theater.
An all-student cast has been chosen:
Denise Dellevar, Hales Corners, plays
the Executioner
Melissa Freson, Big Bend, plays Rachel
and Enamor
Melodee Glatzel, Waukesha, plays May
Geoffrey Hall, Watertown, plays Larry
Kimberly Hamilton, Milwaukee, also plays
the Executioner
Jason Kausalik, Sussex, plays Ben 2
Cody Kreidler, Delafield, plays Michael
Russ Monroe, New Berlin, plays Ben 1
Michael Moro, Waukesha, plays Ick
Amanda Pirlot, West Allis, plays Chad
and Gromit
David Rogers, Waukesha, plays Ian
