WAUKESHA – University of Wisconsin-Waukesha
student Fernando Santella, Hartland, won first place in the men’s
No. 1 singles at the Wisconsin Collegiate Conference Tournament held
May 2-3 in Madison. He also placed second, with Justin Robers, Union
Grove, in the men’s No. 1 doubles.
Kyle Malin, Milwaukee, finished in second place
in the men’s No. 4 singles division, losing in a close three-set
match.
UW-Waukesha’s men’s and women’s teams, both
coached by
Neal Nelson, the school’s athletic director and an associate
professor of physical education, ended in fourth place in the
tournament.
