WAUKESHA, Wis. - Tickets are still available for the University of Wisconsin-Waukesha Lunt-Fontanne Ensemble’s production of the comedy, Duck Hunter Shoots Angel written by Mitch Albom, directed by Steven Decker.
Mitch Albom's tender comedy, Duck Hunter Shoots Angel, about a tabloid journalist searching for two Alabama hunters who believe they shot a celestial being is full of zany characters like Alligator Man and the Early brothers. Duck Hunter Shoots Angel is an out-of-this-world tale full of magical surprises and unexpected second chances and will be presented Thursday, Friday, Saturday; November 5-7 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 8 at 2 p.m. and will be held in the Lunt-Fontanne Theater, located in the Fine Arts Center on campus at 1500 N. University Dr.
All seating is general admission, and tickets for Duck Hunter Shoots Angel are $10 for adults, $8 for students and senior citizens and free to UW-Waukesha students with campus ID. The box office opens an hour before each performance. For ticket information, phone (262)-521-5212.
The UW-Waukesha Lunt-Fontanne Ensemble 2009-10 theatre season includes the new play, a comedy, Thieves by Doug Bedwell on April 15, 16 and 17 at 7:30 and April 16 at 2 p.m. and a summer musical production to be announced.
