- provide opportunities for all children to practice the skills
they have learned in their physical education class.
- to develop leadership and followership skills
- to enhance personal and social interests through a wide variety
of competitive and noncompetitive activities.

When will you hold intramurals?
- Noon hour or after school
Who supervises it?
- Teachers, parents, adult supervisors
How do you group the children?
As equal as possible or:
- By homeroom
- By classification index: number on a team multiplied by age
plus their weight. Teacher' s choice: hopefully they are looking
for equal teams.
- Date of birth: for 6 teams take all Jan/Feb birthdays on the
first team, Mar/Apr birthdays on the second team, etc.
Types of tournaments
- Single elimination
- Double elimination
- Round robin
