The full time credit load is 6 credits. There is no additional charge from 6 through 9 credits for regular campus courses. Credits added above 9 credits are charged at $177.83 for residents and $468.82 for non-resident students.
Each student pays a $2.00 fee for the United Council membership in addition to the tuition fees (it is included in the amounts above.)
Online courses fees are $200.00 per credit. Plus: $60.00 registration fee (nonrefundable) per course
Students taking both credit courses and audit courses pay for all courses at the full credit rate.
NO SHOW POLICY
Any student not attending the first meeting of a class of the session without notifying the professor is dropped from the course. Anyone not attending the first meeting of all courses in that particular session without notifying the professor will be withdrawn and assessed a $50 late payment/withdrawal charge.
The Business Office will not be sending an invoice. Please check your account in for the correct amount due. Payment is due the first Monday of the session.
TUITION IS DUE BY THE FIRST MONDAY OF THE CLASS SESSION.

Late Registrations
Payment is due the same day of registration. Use the same methods of payment explained below.

- Pay full tuition/fees by mail. Please allow enough time; payment must be received in the Business Office no later than 6:00 pm on the first Monday of the session. We recommend at least 5 business days. We do not accept postmark dates on the envelopes for being on time.

Payments received in the Business Office will be applied to the student’s account on the same day. You can verify a mailed payment by accessing your account.

Tuition and fee charges must be paid in full by the tuition due date (the first Monday of the beginning of the session).

TUITION NOT PAID ON TIME
If a student has made no payment on his/her account for the session, the student will be assessed a $50.00 late payment charge.

WITHDRAWING FROM A SESSION
If a student chooses to withdraw from UW Waukesha for the summer session follow the withdrawal process with the Student Services Office. The withdrawal will be effective the date the letter is postmarked or when the FAX or e-mail, on campus account, is received by the Student Services Office.
- To avoid any fees, a student must withdraw BEFORE the session begins.
- To avoid any tuition charges, withdraw by the end of the first week of the session. There is a $50 late payment/withdrawal charge if the withdrawal after the session begins.

- Refer to the Refund Schedule when withdrawing after the first week of the session. Deadline dates are on Friday, except for the three week and six week first session which is on Monday.
Withdrawals are processed through the Student Services Office. The request must be in writing and signed by the student. See details above.
- DROPPING A CLASS
If a student chooses to drop a class and remains enrolled in other classes in that session, the student may drop the class online. There will not be an administrative charge.
DROP DEADLINES to avoid financial penalty if tuition was paid by the first Monday of the session. (You must be enrolled in another course during that summer session.)
