Dr. Bassiouni has been teaching full curriculum of courses offered through the department of Anthropology and Sociology, including Introduction to Sociology, Sociology of Race and Ethnicity, Crime and Criminal Justice, Contemporary Social Problems, Marriage and the Family, General and Cultural Anthropology, Peoples and Cultures of the Middle East. He has served on various governance committees at the campus, departmental, and colleges-wide level. He was tenured in 1996.
