Special Student Admission Information

Students are considered “special" students if they are community members taking courses for self-enrichment, they are enrolled at another college or university and need to take a course or two at UW-Waukesha, or they have been out of college for some time and want to start back by taking a few courses. Special students are not interested in earning a degree from UW-Waukesha or they already have a college degree (second degree-seeking students).

Special students who wish to become degree-seeking students must submit the UW System Application for Undergraduate Admission, the application fee and official education records after completing six credits. This does not apply to second degree-seeking students.  Special Students are not eligible for financial aid or veteran’s benefits.

Here’s How to Apply:

Submit a Special Student Application to the UW-Waukesha Student Services Office. Applications are available from the UW-Waukesha Student Services Office, or on-line at:  http://apply.wisconsin.edu/
