Are you prepared to meet with your Advisor?

Think about these questions before you meet with your Advisor…

1. What am I planning to major in?
2. What school do I want to transfer to?
3. Do I have the transfer guides for my major?

They are available in the Exploration Center! (The room next to Student Services.)
Or by visiting the Transfer Information System

4. Am I going to earn the Associates Degree while I’m here?
5. Would I like to participate in the Guaranteed Transfer Program?
6. Do I remember the requirements for the Associates Degree?
7. What GPA do I need to transfer?
8. How are my classes going this semester? Do I need help in them? Have I talked to the professor? Do I need tutoring?
9. Do I have any transfer credits? AP credits?
10. What classes am I going to take in next semester?

All first semester freshmen are required to meet with an advisor before they can register.  All other students are strongly encouraged to meet with their advisor.
