Advising and Registration (AR) at UW-Waukesha
Advising and Registration (AR) is an event that all new freshmen must attend in order to get registered for the following semester. AR is an academic orientation that introduces students to many areas of the campus. Students will go through several workshops, followed by an advising session where students have an opportunity to get their personal questions answered.
AR lasts approximately 3 hours. Students must attend the entire event in order to register for classes.
Students must sign up for AR in advance. Students generally attend AR a few weeks after they have taken placement tests on campus.
