Women's Basketball 2006-2007
2006-07: Speed, shooting and trapping defenses highlight this perfect 31-0 season. The home winning streak reaches 58 games, the conference winning streak is now at 92 consecutive wins, and the conference titles streak is at 11 years. Kira Flack was named first team all conference and all state, finishing as the all time steals leader and 5th in career scoring. Kim Bentfield also was a first team all conference and all state member, finishing 7th in career scoring and 2nd in career assists. Rachel Statis was the team’s third leading scorer and led in rebounds with 199. Annie Werner was the team leader in assists while averaging 9 points per game. The highlight of this season was the Surf and Slam title in San Diego (Kim Bentfield, Annie Werner, and Rachel Statis were named to the all tourney team), and the school’s 7th WJCAA state championship (Bentfield and Flack were named to the all tournament team). Statistically this is the most dominating team in school history.
