The UW-Waukesha Commons Building is the center of student life on campus.  Originally built in 1966, the facility was completely remodeled and expanded in 1996 and serves the student body with a variety of services.  This building is connected to Administration and Northview Hall, and the library can be reached by walking through Northview.

The above is the Administration area that contains most of the school's administrative offices, including the dean's office, associate dean's office, University Relations, UW-Milwaukee BAOA, mailroom, UW-Extension, Executive Board Room, and the Business Office.  This part of the main complex connects the Commons Building to Northview Hall.

The Computer Center is located in the Commons Building adjacent to the dining area.  It has 3 computer classrooms equipped with projectors and a more then 40 computers in its  general-access lab.  Some English and Computer Science classes are taught from here.  Hours for student use are extensive during the week, and the computers are loaded with Microsoft Office and other programs.

The Business Office is the area where students can take care of things such as tuition payments, library fines, parking permits/fines, and pick up paychecks if they are school employees.  It is located in the Administration area in the hallway between Northview Hall and the Commons.

The Student Services Office is the area where students can take care of a lot of things.
Class registration, financial/academic advising, and admissions are taken care of here.

Our University Bookstore  is located in the Commons Building near the Exploration Center.  A variety of items including school clothing, greeting cards, books, school supplies, and gifts can be found here.
