UW-Waukesha owns a field station of approximately 100 acres in the town of Waterville. It is 10 miles west of campus, just off Hwy 18 on Waterville Rd. The field station serves as an outdoor laboratory for students, and also has a large kiln for firing ceramic art. The Gertrude Sherman building was dedicated in 2001. It serves as a educational classroom and lab. |
