To enroll in these classes you must be a TRIO participant with a signed contract.  If you have questions, see Heidi or Tina, in the Study Center. TRIO students may schedule individual appointments with specialists regardless of the math or English classes in which they are enrolled.

A study of fundamental writing skills including grammatical conventions, usage, sentence structure, paragraph development, and organization of short essays. For TRIO students who are required to take English 098 before enrolling in English 101.

LEA 114 (1 non degree credit) CAREER PLANNING AND PREPARATION

This course will enable students to develop career goals and lay out a plan for achieving these goals. Students will examine their personal interests, aptitudes, values, decision making skills, academic plans and career awareness. This information will then be organized into an individualized academic plan.
