About UWM at Waukesha

UW-Waukesha students on campus

UWM at Waukesha is a great choice for local students who want a two-year degree or a valuable start to a four-year degree with the convenience of living in Waukesha.  When you're ready to pursue a four-year degree, it's easy to transfer to UW-Milwaukee or another UW System school.

The strength of the UWM at Waukesha campus is the priority given to teaching. Class sizes are small and you won't be taught by student teachers here.  In addition, relationships are fostered with the community, other UW campuses and educational institutions to help set our students up for success.

Many students choose this campus because it is close to home and tuition is affordable. While both reasons are logical and true, students who become part of the UWM at Waukesha campus community discover rich and rewarding opportunities - providing a strong foundation that carries them forward, no matter what their next step is.
