Judge William J. Domina will deliver UWM at Waukesha’s commencement address on Thursday, May 24. Judge Domina is a UWM at Waukesha alumnus and the current President of their Foundation Board. After completing an associate degree at UWM at Waukesha, Domina completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UW-Eau Claire. He then attended the University of Wisconsin Law School to complete his J.D. degree. Before becoming a judge in Waukesha’s Circuit Court in 2010, Domina was in private practice and also served as Corporation Counsel for both Waukesha and Milwaukee Counties. In 2015, the State Bar of Wisconsin named him Judge of the Year and recognized him for his work with Waukesha County’s Drug Treatment Court and with the Juvenile Legal Clinic in Waukesha County.
The main focus of the Honors and Degree Ceremony will be recognizing the accomplishments of graduating UWM at Waukesha students. This includes 7 Bachelor degrees and 224 Associate degrees as well as student achievement awards. The ceremony begins at 7pm in the Lunt-Fontanne theatre on campus. UWM at Waukesha is located at 1500 N. University Drive in Waukesha. Free parking is available.
