G.E.M.S. - Save the Date! Saturday, April 13, 2019
Every year Continuing Education hosts up to 200 middle school girls at our GEMS (girls, engineering, math, and science) conference. This year GEMS will take place on Saturday, April 13, 2019. We are always looking for women STEM professionals to do a hands-on workshop! Please call our office 262-521-5460 or eamil firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Our STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) Day continued this year at the UW-Waukesha campus. Students from 6 different schools spent the day at UW- Waukesha exploring different STEM career fields by attending hands-on workshops. Students ended their day by engineering a container for our annual egg drop and earned their certificate of completion in the UW-Waukesha - Milwaukee County Extension 4H Systematics program. Certificates will be awarded at their graduation ceremony in May.
